For responsible, safe, and sustainable tourist activity
We provide our guests a carefree vacation plan. All packages and price lists include COVID WARRANTY, which means you are entitled to a 100% refund in case epidemic status is declared.
The COVID WARRANTY guarantees you a 100% free cancellation with regard to current status of COVID 19 epidemic (in case of venue closure, illness, or quarantine). In the event of timely booking cancellation, maximum 3 days before your vacation was to start, we will offer you the stay at a different time, or provide you with a gift voucher with the value of your purchace, valid for a year after the fact.
At Pohorje Village Spa & Wellness Resort, we implemented a special hygienic standard, procedures of cleaning and disinfection, as well as adapted our business model, all towards reaching the goal of highest cleanliness standard that guarantees all our guests and employees safety and protection. Our resort is thus also part of the project VAREN Resort.
HYGIENIC PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR AND OUR OWN SAFETY
We formed our plans for cleaning and disinfection in different departments and areas in compliance with study results obtained by our business partners. These plans define critical points in a specific area that require our additional attention and more frequent cleaning.
We assure you, dear guests, that in our resort you can feel safe and relaxed during every moment of your vacation, and most importantly: stay healthy.
Our employees must follow general hygienic precautions at work as well as outside of work to contribute to all our safety. Our personnel can come to work only when healthy, which we regularly check.
Our employees exercise responsible use of required personal protective equipment. All personnel was acquainted with proper application, use, and removal of PPE in great detail.
We keep our employees regularly and properly informed about proper procedures, cleaning and resort business. Thus, all our employees are regularly acquainted with special cleaning procedures, aware of the importance of following strict guidelines prescribed by the state, and taught how to react in the event of crisis.
In order to increase the safety of your stay, contactless communication with our personnel has been made available. The only thing you need is a mobile phone and our app.
In light of decreasing the risk of infection, our guests may use contactless reception services of check-in, check-out, and payment, which enables short and safe stops at the reception or check-in without visiting the reception. We provide receipts by e-mail.
There are multiple hand disinfectants installed throughout the hotel lobby.
We regularly disinfect the reception desk and POS terminals. We provide for safe use of writing utensils, which are disinfected after every use.
Upon arrival, all guests receive disinfected keys to enter their accommodation unit.
All printed materials (pamphlets, brochures, and maps) have been removed from common areas, but can be received upon request.
The reception area is aired multiple times per day.
We consistently follow social distancing guidelines (minimum of 1.5 m) between guests at the reception and lobby areas.
The use of the lift is currently restricted to one person (exceptions are close relatives and persons living in the same household). Lifts are regularly disinfected. However, we recommend the use of staircases.
HOTEL ROOMS AND APARTMENTS
We do not enter your room during your stay – daily cleaning is performed upon request only. We provide contactless order of fresh towels and toilet paper without entering the room. In current circumstances, we advise regular airing of your room or apartment.
Our cleaning staff uses cleaning fluids and disinfectants produced by a reliable sustainable and nature-friendly solution provision partner – Ecolab, which, through its 360° protection program, provides balance between hygiene and comfort of hospital patients and hotel guests.
All bed linen and towelling used at the resort is made of quality materials and washed using chemo-thermic disinfection methods that destroy bacteria and viruses. As proof of compliance, Salesianer certifications are available for view at thereception. Salesianer is our partner company that takes care of the safety and impeccable cleanliness of our laundry.
In order to assure your safety, all decorative pillows and linen have been removed from the rooms.
Hotel information, priorly located inside rooms, have been digitalised. You can read them on our website, or on our app. The same is true for advertisement materials and price lists.
RESTAURANT AND CAFE
Tables in both restaurants as well as the hotel cafe are placed at safe distances (minimum of 1.5 m). Hand disinfectants are located at all entrances. We keep our inventory regularly disinfected (tables and chairs are disinfected after each use, all spaces are regularly aired, surfaces that are most regularly touched, such as door knobs, coat hangers, bars, and handles, are disinfected several times a day ).
Food and drinks are prepared and served in compliance with strict hygienic standards.
All petty inventory (dishes, plates, cutlery) is washed in a dishwasher using appropriate detergents that destroy bacteria and viruses.
All decorative elements that might facilitate contagion have been removed from our restaurant.
The cutlery is served to each guest individually in a way that prevents unprotected contact and possible contamination.
WELLNESS AND SPA
Hand disinfectants are installed on multiple locations; by the entrance, toilet entrances, and showers). We provide contactless service and booking. All bracelets are disinfected after each use. We regularly clean and disinfect the entire pool, saunas, surfaces next to the pool, resting areas, toilets, and showers.
We have limited the number of visitors, which allows for larger distances between customers and, in turn, increases safety. The recliners must be kept 1.5 m apart (exceptions are people living in the same household), required interpersonal distance in the pool and saunas is 2 m.
We keep all areas regularly aired.
Recliners, lockers, wardrobes, and massage rooms are disinfected after every use.
All linen and towelling is made of quality materials and washed using chemo-thermic disinfection methods that destroy bacteria and viruses.
Turkish saunas are temporarily closed.
We consistently check the health status of massage customers. Customers’ body temperature is measured before every massage.
Our employees wear appropriate working and protective equipment and follow National Public Health Institute safety guidelines.
Use of masks is mandatory in all closed spaces.
Hand disinfectants are installed in front of the hall and at the speakers’ podium. Seats in all business halls are kept 1.5 m apart. We regularly disinfect all surfaces and inventory in all meeting chambers (special attention is paid to disinfecting inventory that is touched most frequently by the guests: tables, chairs, door knobs, speakers’ podium).
We adapted our coffee breaks in a way that allows safe service at the required interpersonal distance of 1.5 m.
