Visitors have the option of arriving by gondola, reducing their carbon footprint. Accommodation in sun-filled rooms and apartments with forest views encourages a closer connection with nature and a more relaxed way of living. Through the Green Choice program, guests can actively contribute to reducing water and energy consumption by opting out of daily towel and linen changes. This decision is not only a responsible use of resources but also a genuine expression of respect for the nature that surrounds the resort. As a token of appreciation, guests receive a bottle of our house sparkling wine, symbolizing our shared commitment to a sustainable future. The resort uses a solar power plant as a renewable energy source and holds the Green Key certificate, confirming our dedication to sustainable management and reducing environmental impact. Through our operations, we continuously strive to minimize waste and optimize resources for responsible business practices.

We focus on locally sourced ingredients and collaboration with regional suppliers. Authentic dishes such as Pohorski pisker are prepared using ingredients sourced from the immediate surroundings. Participants also have the opportunity to discover the story behind this traditional dish — its heritage, meaning and preparation in the past, as well as its role in modern cuisine.

A Classroom Without Walls – Green Meeting Spaces

Business meetings and workshops can take place in a natural environment where unspoiled landscapes inspire creativity and new ways of thinking. Meet outdoors during a walking meeting in nature or in one of our meeting rooms, among which Lisička and Jurček stand out for their direct views of the surrounding forest. We offer eight technically equipped conference halls, combining modern technology with a deep connection to nature.

Unique Experiences – Team Building in Nature

Our programs are designed to encourage cooperation, strengthen relationships and connect participants through sustainable practices. Key team-building activities include:

1. Walking Meeting
   A concept of conducting business meetings while walking, enabling more dynamic and productive conversations in a natural setting.
2. Forest Bathing
   An experience inspired by the Japanese practice Shinrin-yoku, encouraging deep connection with the forest through mindfulness and sensory exercises.
3. Asteya Yoga Programs
   Outdoor yoga practices in pristine forest surroundings, where participants connect with nature and themselves through movement and breathing techniques.
4. Pohorski Pisker Cooking Challenge
   Experience a culinary team-building activity in the heart of nature while preparing this authentic local dish. A unique blend of local flavors, fun and cultural discovery.
5. Treasure Hunt
   An orienteering adventure in the forest — fun, educational and engaging. More than just a game, it strengthens teamwork, creativity and communication.

Did you know that our resort also cares for the generation of the future? Because every change begins with awareness. Our Green Heroes program at Pohorje Village Wellbeing Resort encourages young people to adopt sustainable habits through practical experiences and engaging challenges.

Schools participating in our School in Nature program compete in environmental challenges such as reducing food waste, sorting waste properly and caring responsibly for natural resources. Through this experience, students develop environmental responsibility and become ambassadors of sustainable practices.

At the end of the season, the winning school receives a special recognition and an unforgettable experience at the resort. Every step counts — together we shape a nature-friendly future.
