POHORJE VILLAGE WELLNESS & SPA RESORT

Resort policy

We strive to provide our guests with an outstandingly safe, celan and friendly hotel experience. These Resort Policy is considered a part of our reservation agreement with you. As guest of our Resort, and as upon your check-in, you are agreeing to all of our Resort Policy Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures. These Resort Policy Rules are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort and the guest. Our Resort Policy may change from time to time.

This Resort policy is subject to a Slovenian legislation. The parties agree that any dispute that may arise will be resolved by the Maribor District Court.

 

Room Availability and Overbooking

Limited numbers of suitable rooms may be allocated to rates, packages or promotions and, when these allocations are taken up, remaining available rooms may be offered at a greater price. Rates are not applicable to groups. In the event, or unforeseen circumstance of the resort being overbooked, or being unable to hold rooms/apartments consistent with this room hold policy, Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort will accommodate guests at a comparable or higher category Hotel/Apartment in the area for the oversold night(s).

 

Check-in
14:00 – 22:00 hours

Check-out
Until 10:00 hours

 

Early Check-in
Early check-in is offered based on availability and possible only by prior arrangement with the reception. In case of early Check-in (before or at 12. hours) an additional payment in the amount of 50% of the apartment value per night will be charged.

 

Late Check-out
Late check-out is offered based on availability and possible only by prior arrangement with the reception. In case of late Check-out (after 10.00 AM) an additional payment in the amount of 100% of the apartment value per night will be charged.

 

Guest registration

We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, date of birth, address, personal document type and number, phone number, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room or apartment must be registered.

 

Guarantee of reservations

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We are allowed to charge your credit card after your check out, if there will remain unpaid items on your room bill.

 

Booking Conditions

Reservations made in Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort are governed by Terms and Conditions which can be found on our web page www.pohorjevillageresort.si. With making a reservation in our Resort you are automatically agreeing with our Terms and Conditions and are confirming, that you understand our booking conditions and have accepted them on behalf of yourself and all members of your party.

While using our Online Reservations system the user should carefully read the details provided regarding charges before completing the reservation process. Any special needs should be communicated before making the reservations.

 

Non-refundable reservatios

In case guest or subscriber makes a non-refundable reservation, Resort will charge the guest full amount of the reservation on the day of recived reservation. It is not possible to change or cancel a non-refundable reservation. In case of modification or no show of such reservation Resort will not return prepaid amount to guest and it is also not transferable to a subsequent stay.

 

Cancellation and modification of the reservation

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Reservations must be cancelled or modified in accordance with cancellation policy or reservation conditions assigned when making a reservation.

Cancellation and modification conditions may vary; please check your reservation conditions to see the applicable cancellation fees.

In case of early departure hotel is not obligated to return the cost of early departure to a guest.

 

No-show charges

Failure to check in on the scheduled arrival date for a reservation guaranteed with a credit card will result in a No-Show fee being charged to your credit card. You will be charged in accordance with cancellation conditions (check your reservation conditions).

 

Payment:

All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. Credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. Cash (only in EURO) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized credit card. All guests are required to present a valid major credit card and government issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying in cash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency not accepted.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

 

Rates

All rates are quoted in Euro currency and contain VAT. City tax, Promotional tax and Check-in fee are not calcullated in the prices and must be paid separately according to the price list. Rates may increase without notice. Rates as advertised on Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the Resort’s discretion.

 

City tax, Promotional tax and Check-in fee

City tax, also sometimes called the Tourist tax is compulsory: it applies to everybody staying in resort and is collected by the owner of the accommodation. The amount of the City tax is 1,20 € / adult person / night. Children between the age of 7 and 18 pay only 50% of the total amount of the City tax (0,60 € / child / day) and the children up to the age of 7 do not need to pay it.

Payment of Promotional tax is also compulsory – it is valued as 25% of the City tax value – in Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort its price is 0,30 € / adult person / day and 0,15 € / child between the age of 7 and 18 years / day.

Check-in fee is applicable to all the guests staying in the Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort, regardless of their age. It is set as one-time single payment in the amount of 1,00 € / guest / stay.

 

Inventory of the resort

It is not allowed to move or to remove furniture in your room or apartment. Not in the room/apartment, or between rooms/apartments. It is also not allowed to move or remove the decoration or electrical appliances, or use them for personal purposes other than for which they are intended. Our staff will put everything back in its original place, and possible damage will be charged on your credit/debit card.

 

Right to refuse service

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate the Slovenian laws. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodation in our hotel or may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to abide by the reasonable standards and policies established by Slovenian Law and the owners for the operation and management of the whole resort. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusal or failure to pay for accommodations, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other intoxicating substance and acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests or is not in compliance with state liquor laws; acts in a disorderly fashion as to disturb the peace of other guests; is unable to properly supervise their children at all times, seeks to use the hotel for an unlawful purpose; seeks to bring into the hotel: an unlawfully possessed firearm; or something, including an explosive or hazardous or toxic substance, that is unlawful to possess and that may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces, or threatens harm to Resorts property or guests; causes or permits persons to exceed the maximum allowable occupancy of room, refuses to abide by the reasonable standards or policies established by Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort for the operation and management of our Resort.


Pets
Pets are allowed in the apartments with surcharge of 10,00 €  smaller pet / day. At the reservation should be clearly said or written that a pet will be accompanying the guests. Pet allowed rooms are upon request and need to be confirmed by the reception prior to arrival. We reserve the right to refuse bigger pets or pets which might be dangerous or disturb the peace of other guests.

 

Smoking Policy

In accordance with Slovenian legislation, Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort operates with No smoking policy within all interior areas (apartments, hotels, depandance, SPA and wellness areas) including: guest bedrooms, inside public areas and corridors. For resident guests who do not comply with our No smoking policy, a charge of 100 Euros will be added to their bill to facilitate the cost of cleaning all soft furnishing to remove the odour of tobacco. We appreciate your co-operation with our No Smoking Policy and we thank you for making our world a bit more green.

 

Damage Policy:

As a guest of Pohorje Village Resort you (or any person in your party whether or not staying at the Resort or just visiting you) are liable for any damage caused to our property. We reserve the right to  retain your credit or debit card details as presented at registration and charge you for the caused damage. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room/apartment (or anywhere else in Pohorje Village Resort) – hereby we refer to all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.

DAMAGE TO APARTMENTS & ROOMS: Damage to rooms/apartments, fixtures, furnishing and equipment (electronic equipment also included), towels, art work, etc. will be charged at 100% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to Resorts property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

 

DAMAGE OR TAMPERING WITH FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS OR FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Pohorje Village Resort reserves the right to take action against any guest or visitor of the Resort found to have interfered with any detection equipment in the Resort (detector heads in public areas, guest rooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers). Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the Resort due to their actions. We also reserve the right to evict such a guests from our Resort. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

In case we will find out that fire-fighting or detection equipment had been tampered after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room/apartment or the resort property during your stay.

 

Fire safety Policy

LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: Please be aware that it is dangerous to cover lamps or other electrical appliances. This might cause overheating and start a fire. Therefore it is not allowed to cover lamps, tv’s, water boilers, … using towels, wigs, clothing or any other items.

FIRE DETECTION: Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA resort is fully equipped with smoke detectors, fire safety information and emergency evacuation plans on the door of each guest accommodation.

 

Lost key (card), damaged lock

The cost for replacement of lost room key (card) is 15,00 €.

For damaged locks a total amount of up to 500,00 € is to be paid immediately.

 

Personal Data

By filling out our forms you expressly accept that your data is stored electronically for this sales contract and to provide you with Resorts services. We do not give the data away to third party and we safeguard it according to the laws.

 

Car parking

Parking space at the parking spot is provided free of charge for the guests of Pohorje Vilalge Wellness & SPA Resort. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Pohorje Village Resort shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the resort property. If a vehicle is left in the Resort parking lot after the guest has departed, without the written consent of the Resort, the Resort reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense.

 

Night peace time

Night peace time takes place between 22:00 and 6.00 O`clock. If you become aware of disruptive guest, please contact Front Desk staff immediately. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in halls or lobby.

 

No in-room party

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort enforces a No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can protect the Resort and our guests at all times. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the Resort without refund. Registered guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting.

 

Visitors

Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival and must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. No visitors in rooms or apartments are allowed after 22:00 O`clock.

 

Meals in our Restaurants

Meals in our restaurants are for registered guests only (depending on the services they paid for). Visitors may not join a registered guest for a free meal. Visitors are required to pay the fee of the meal at the Front Desk, to get allowed for breakfast / lunh or dinner in the Resorts restaurants.

 

Safety of personal belongings
Pohorje Village Resort is not liable for shortage, damage or loss of moneys, currency values, securities, jewellery and other valuables of the Guest not placed into a safe provided to the Guest. Resort is also not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings left / stolen / damaged in common areas of the Pohorje Village resort (for example in the Lobby bar, Restaurant, meeting rooms, in SKI depos, on Childrens playgrounds or in Wellness & SPA areas).

 

Lost & found Policy

If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.

FOUND ITEMS: The Pohorje Village Resort is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to 1 year.

RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by post. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage (or you can transfer the shipment costs on our bank account). A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the Postal Service.

 

Luggage Storage

Subject to availability of the storage space, the guest can store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause.

 

Linen changing

Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiples nights, bed linen will be changed once a week. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels once a week. If you would like to order bed linen or fresh towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk Reception – it will be provided for you upon a payment (please check the Pricelist).

 

Special requests

We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, baby crib, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

 

Additional bedding

A limited number of baby cribs are available upon request. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Extra charges apply. Maximum capacity of baby crib or rollaway is one (1) per room. For safety reasons, bedding (pillows and blankets) are not provided for cribs.

 

Photographs and Video’s

Using photographs and video’s taken in the Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort for commercial or public purposes is illegal – it is allowed only with consent of the resorts management. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution.

Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival and must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. No visitors in rooms or apartments are allowed after 22:00 O`clock.

 

Meals in our Restaurants

Meals in our restaurants are for registered guests only (depending on the services they paid for). Visitors may not join a registered guest for a free meal. Visitors are required to pay the fee of the meal at the Front Desk, to get allowed for breakfast / lunh or dinner in the Resorts restaurants.

 

Safety of personal belongings
Pohorje Village Resort is not liable for shortage, damage or loss of moneys, currency values, securities, jewellery and other valuables of the Guest not placed into a safe provided to the Guest. Resort is also not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings left / stolen / damaged in common areas of the Pohorje Village resort (for example in the Lobby bar, Restaurant, meeting rooms, in SKI depos, on Childrens playgrounds or in Wellness & SPA areas).

 

Lost & found Policy

If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.

FOUND ITEMS: The Pohorje Village Resort is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to 1 year.

RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by post. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage (or you can transfer the shipment costs on our bank account). A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the Postal Service.

 

Luggage Storage

Subject to availability of the storage space, the guest can store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause.

 

Linen changing

Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiples nights, bed linen will be changed once a week. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels once a week. If you would like to order bed linen or fresh towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk Reception – it will be provided for you upon a payment (please check the Pricelist).

 

Special requests

We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, baby crib, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

 

Additional bedding

A limited number of baby cribs are available upon request. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Extra charges apply. Maximum capacity of baby crib or rollaway is one (1) per room. For safety reasons, bedding (pillows and blankets) are not provided for cribs.

 

Photographs and Video’s

Using photographs and video’s taken in the Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort for commercial or public purposes is illegal – it is allowed only with consent of the resorts management. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution.
