PRE-ARRIVAL INFO

On the day of arrival you can Check-in after 3 PM / the last day Check- out has to be until 10 AM.

Upon arrival, please report to the central reception of Pohorje Village Resort, which is located in the Wellness & Spa Hotel Bolfenk****.

By confirming the reservation, you agree to these general conditions, which are published below.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment with TOURIST VOUCHERS is possible and welcome.

The hotel accepts payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Euro/Mastercard, Maestro and JBC.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the credit card at the time of booking, at any time prior to arrival or during the guest’s stay at the hotel.

All prices listed on our offers and on the website are expressed in euros (€, EUR) and include VAT.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF RESERVATION

In the period of stay until 27.12.2021, it is possible to cancel the reservation free of charge up to 4 days before arrival. 3 or less days before the arrival or non-arrival of the guest, 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged

During the New Year (December 28 – February 2, 2022), a 100% advance payment of the full amount of the reservation is required within 7 days of the reservation. A reservation made for this period of stay does not have the option of cancellation free of charge, regardless of when it would be canceled. It is a reservation without the possibility of a refund, modification of the reservation or free cancellation.

In winter stays (from 02.01. to 15.03.2022) a pre-payment is required in the amount of 30% of the total amount of the reservation within seven days of the reservation. Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 21 days before arrival.

For all reservations (including those made for the New Year) we offer a Covid guarantee – if there are measures in accordance with the prevention of the spread of Covid 19 virus and thus the closure of hotel activities as well as other measures to ensure the arrival of guests in our accommodation was limited – we guarantee 100% refund of paid funds.

To change or cancel your reservation, you can contact the hotel reception of Pohorje Village Resort directly (E: info@resort.si, T: 02 603 55 00). If the reservation is not canceled within a certain period of time, as defined above, or if the guest in the accommodation does not register at all, the Resort will charge the guest 100% of the total reservation.

RESORT POLICY

We strive to provide our guests with an outstandingly safe, celan and friendly hotel experience. These Resort Policy is considered a part of our reservation agreement with you. As guest of our Resort, and as upon your check-in, you are agreeing to all of our Resort Policy Rules, terms and conditions, and procedures. These Resort Policy Rules are presented here to help promote our guests’ safety and enjoyment and to ensure that each guest is aware of the understandings between Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort and the guest. Our Resort Policy may change from time to time.

This Resort policy is subject to a Slovenian legislation. The parties agree that any dispute that may arise will be resolved by the Maribor District Court.

AVAILABILITY OF ROOMS AND OVERCROWDING

A limited number of eligible rooms may be allocated to rates, packages or promotions and, when these allocations are taken, the remaining available rooms may be offered at a higher rate. Prices do not apply to groups. In the case or unforeseen circumstances when the Resort is overbooked or cannot have rooms/apartments in accordance with this room reservation policy, Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort will accommodate guests in a hotel/apartment of a comparable or higher category in the area of Pohorje or Maribor for the period of oversold nights.

EARLY REGISTRATION

Early check-in is subject to availability and is only possible by prior arrangement with the reception. In case of early check-in (before or at 12 o’clock) an additional fee of 50% of the value of the room/apartment per night will be charged.

LATE CHECK-OUT

Late check-out is subject to availability and is only possible after prior agreement with the reception. In case of late check-out (after 10:00 a.m.), an additional payment of 100% of the value of the room/apartment per night will be charged.

REGISTRATION OF GUESTS

We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservation, including first and last name, date of birth, address, ID type and number, telephone number and signature. The names of all guests staying in the room or apartment must be registered.

RESERVATION GUARANTEE

All reservations must be secured with a valid major credit card. After you check out, we may charge your credit card if there are any unpaid items on your room bill.

RESERVATION CONDITIONS

By making a reservation at our Resort, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions and confirm that you understand our booking conditions and have accepted them on your own behalf and on behalf of all members of your party.

While using our online booking system, the user must carefully read the cost information before completing the booking process. Any special needs must be communicated prior to booking.

NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATIONS

In the event that a guest or client makes a non-refundable reservation, the resort will charge the guest the full amount of the reservation on the day the reservation is received. A non-refundable reservation cannot be changed or cancelled. In the event of a change or non-arrival of the guests of such a reservation, the Resort will not refund the amount paid in advance to the guest, nor can it be transferred to the next stay.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGE OF RESERVATION

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies or schedule changes. Reservations must be canceled or modified in accordance with the cancellation policy or reservation conditions specified at the time of booking.

Cancellation and change conditions may vary; please check the booking conditions to see the applicable cancellation charges.

In case of early departure, the hotel is not obliged to refund the cost of early departure to the guest.

NON-REVENUE COSTS

If you do not check in on your expected arrival date for a reservation secured by credit card, your credit card will be charged a no-show fee. We will charge you according to the cancellation conditions (check the booking conditions).

PAYMENTS

All reservations and registrations must be secured with a valid credit card. Credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. Cash (in euros only) payment is welcome with a signed and pre-authorized credit card. All guests must present a valid major credit card and government-issued photo ID, even if you plan to pay in cash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency are not accepted.

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival.

PRICES

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT. City tax, promotional tax and registration fee are not included in the prices and must be paid separately according to the price list. Prices may increase without notice. Prices published on the Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort website or any other website or promotional material are subject to change at any time and may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Resort.

City tax, promotion fee and application fee

Payment of the tourist and promotion tax is mandatory: it applies to everyone staying at the Resort and is collected by the owner of the accommodation. The amount of promotional and tourist tax is €1.50/adult/night. Children between the ages of 7 and 18 pay only 50% of the total amount of the tourist and promotional tax (0.75 € / child / day), children up to the age of 7 are exempt from paying the tourist and promotional tax.

Registration is valid for all guests staying at Wellness & SPA Resort Pohorje Village, regardless of their age. It is set as a one-time payment of €1.00 / guest / stay.

INVENTORY OF THE RESORT

You are not allowed to move or remove furniture in your room or suite. Not within the room/apartment or between rooms/apartments. It is also not allowed to move or remove decorations or electrical appliances or use them for personal purposes other than those intended. Our staff will return everything to its original location and any damage will be charged to your credit/debit card.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is privately owned and managed. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that do not violate Slovenian legislation. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort has a zero tolerance policy whereby we will refuse to accept or refuse service or accommodation at our hotel or may remove a person without refund who refuses to comply with reasonable standards and policies set by Slovenian law and the owners for operation and management of the entire resort. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort will refuse service or evict the guest: due to refusal or non-payment of accommodation, is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating substances and acts disorderly to disturb the peace of others. guests or does not comply with state alcohol laws; acts disorderly to disturb the peace of other guests; cannot properly supervise his children at all times, wants to use the hotel for illegal purposes; wants to bring to the hotel: illegally possessed firearms; or something, including an explosive or dangerous or toxic substance, the possession of which is prohibited and may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces or threatens to damage resort property or guests; causes or allows persons to exceed the maximum allowed room occupancy, refuses to comply with reasonable standards or policies set by Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort for the operation and management of our Resort.

HOUSE PETS

Pets are allowed in the apartments with an additional charge of €10.00 per small pet/day. When booking, it must be clearly stated or written that guests will be accompanied by a pet. Pet-friendly rooms are available upon request and must be confirmed at the front desk prior to arrival. We reserve the right to refuse larger pets or pets that may be dangerous or disturb the peace of other guests.

SMOKING POLICY

In accordance with Slovenian legislation, Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort operates with a no-smoking policy in all indoor spaces (apartments, hotels, annexes, SPA and wellness), including: guest bedrooms, inside public areas and corridors. For resident guests who do not comply with our no smoking policy, €100 will be added to their bill to facilitate the cleaning of all soft furnishings to remove the tobacco smell. We appreciate your cooperation with our no smoking policy and thank you for making our world a little greener.

DAMAGE RECEIVED

As a guest of Pohorje Village Resort, you (or any other member of your family, whether staying at the resort or visiting) are responsible for any damage caused to our property. We reserve the right to retain your credit or debit card information displayed at registration and charge you for any damages incurred. If this damage is discovered after the guest’s departure, we reserve the right and you authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage that may have occurred in your room/apartment (or anywhere else in Pohorje Village Resort) – we hereby warn for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc.

DAMAGE TO APARTMENTS & ROOMS: Damage to rooms/apartments, fixtures, furnishing and equipment (electronic equipment also included), towels, art work, etc. will be charged at 100% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to Resorts property, whether accidental or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

DAMAGE OR TAMPERING WITH FIRE DETECTION SYSTEMS OR FIRE-FIGHTING EQUIPMENT: Pohorje Village Resort reserves the right to take action against any guest or visitor of the Resort found to have interfered with any detection equipment in the Resort (detector heads in public areas, guest rooms, break glass points and fire extinguishers). Guests or visitors found to have tampered with any fire detection or fire-fighting equipment will be charged with any costs incurred by the Resort due to their actions. We also reserve the right to evict such a guests from our Resort. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

In case we will find out that fire-fighting or detection equipment had been tampered after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room/apartment or the resort property during your stay.

Fire safety Policy

LIGHTING AND ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: Please be aware that it is dangerous to cover lamps or other electrical appliances. This might cause overheating and start a fire. Therefore it is not allowed to cover lamps, tv’s, water boilers, … using towels, wigs, clothing or any other items.

FIRE DETECTION: Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA resort is fully equipped with smoke detectors, fire safety information and emergency evacuation plans on the door of each guest accommodation.

 Lost key (card), damaged lock

 The cost for replacement of lost room key (card) is 15,00 €.

 For damaged locks a total amount of up to   500,00 € is to be paid immediately.

Personal Data

By filling out our forms you expressly accept that your data is stored electronically for this sales contract and to provide you with Resorts services. We do not give the data away to third party and we safeguard it according to the laws.

Car parking

Parking space at the parking spot is provided free of charge for the guests of Pohorje Vilalge Wellness & SPA Resort. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Pohorje Village Resort shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the resort property. If a vehicle is left in the Resort parking lot after the guest has departed, without the written consent of the Resort, the Resort reserves the right to have the vehicle towed at the owner’s expense. 

Night peace time

Night peace time takes place between 22:00 and 6.00 O`clock. If you become aware of disruptive guest, please contact Front Desk staff immediately. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No congregating or running in halls or lobby.

No in-room party

Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort enforces a No In-Room Party Policy to ensure we can protect the Resort and our guests at all times. No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the Resort without refund. Registered guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting.

Visitors

Visitors must notify Front Desk upon their arrival and must be accompanied by the registered guest at all times. No visitors in rooms or apartments are allowed after 22:00 O`clock.

 Meals in our Restaurants

Meals in our restaurants are for registered guests only (depending on the services they paid for). Visitors may not join a registered guest for a free meal. Visitors are required to pay the fee of the meal at the Front Desk, to get allowed for breakfast / lunh or dinner in the Resorts restaurants.

 Safety of personal belongings

Pohorje Village Resort is not liable for shortage, damage or loss of moneys, currency values, securities, jewellery and other valuables of the Guest not placed into a safe provided to the Guest. Resort is also not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings left / stolen / damaged in common areas of the Pohorje Village resort (for example in the Lobby bar, Restaurant, meeting rooms, in SKI depos, on Childrens playgrounds or in Wellness & SPA areas).

 Lost & found Policy

If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please call us immediately and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.

FOUND ITEMS: The Pohorje Village Resort is not responsible for any item left behind by a guest. However, any item, with the exception of perishable items, left behind by our guests and found after departure by Housekeeping will be collected, logged in, and kept in a secure location for collection by the owner for up to 1 year.

RETURN: We would be happy to return your lost item(s) to you by post. Your credit card will be charged packaging and postage (or you can transfer the shipment costs on our bank account). A separate receipt will be mailed to you. Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort is not responsible for any item lost or misdirected during shipment by the Postal Service.

Luggage Storage

Subject to availability of the storage space, the guest can store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest’s sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause.

Linen changing

Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying multiples nights, bed linen will be changed once a week. Used towels are exchanged for fresh towels once a week. If you would like to order bed linen or fresh towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk Reception – it will be provided for you upon a payment (please check the Pricelist).

Special requests

We will make every effort to honor special requests such as a specific floor or room number, baby crib, etc. upon your arrival. All special requests are noted on reservations and we will do our best to accommodate. However, the availability of these items cannot be guaranteed in advance.

Additional bedding

A limited number of baby cribs are available upon request. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Extra charges apply. Maximum capacity of baby crib or rollaway is one (1) per room. For safety reasons, bedding (pillows and blankets) are not provided for cribs.

Photographs and Video’s

Using photographs and video’s taken in the Pohorje Village Wellness & SPA Resort for commercial or public purposes is illegal – it is allowed only with consent of the resorts management. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution.
