We are located just 18 minutes drive from Hoče along the scenic road and 25 minutes from the center of Maribor. You can also reach us by the Pohorje cable car, which takes you from the hustle and bustle of the city to 1000 meters above sea level in just 8 minutes.
Bolfenk Restaurant
Located at 1050 meters above sea level, in the heart of Mariborsko Pohorje, it impresses with its authentic mountain view, warm ambiance and delicious local cuisine. The Bolfenk restaurant is ideal for small to medium-sized closed groups who want to celebrate in a homely and comfortable atmosphere, surrounded by nature.
It offers separate booth rooms for more privacy and a spacious sun terrace, where we can organize an outdoor banquet, picnic lunch or aperitif reception.

The airy atmosphere, large capacity and panoramic winter garden that connects the interior with nature allow for unlimited organizational possibilities – from formal celebrations to relaxed gatherings.
It accommodates up to 180 people, offers various spatial layouts and has direct access to a spacious outdoor terrace, where we can also prepare an aperitif reception, picnic lunch or evening feast under the stars.

Just a few steps from the restaurant lies the Bolfenk Energy Trail, featuring seven bioenergy points, established 16 years ago by renowned therapist Tomislav Brumec. This unique trail is perfect for a relaxing walk before or after your meal, allowing guests to connect with the natural energy of the Pohorje forest.
Outdoor Playground
Our youngest visitors are also taken care of outdoors – the playground is located next to the upper cable car station, just a few minutes’ walk from the restaurant. Safe, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature, it is the perfect place for a fun afternoon for children.
